Art KEVA Planks

These are KEVA planks.

KEVA Planks

In art we have been using KEVA planks and creating structures that show either repetition, angular form, curvilinear form or creativity.

Repetition

This is our repetitious sculpture. To show repetition, we made a star shaped base. This shows repetition because each of the five points exactly the same around the building. We also made a hexagon shape in the middle and on the top we added a spiral.

Angular Form

To show angular form we created a ship (although it looked more like a ship wreck) and a living room.

Curvilinear Form

Curvilinear forms are forms that represent a curvy object out of the square planks. For our curvilinear form structure we created a small forest and a basket.

How Do KEVA Planks Enhance Creativity?

KEVA planks give you a chance to create something 3D with something as simple as building blocks. We don't often build 3D things. Mosts of the time we are painting or drawing which are all very common. KEVA planks gave us a chance to make something different.
