Our Food Supply Is In Jepordy

Bees and butterflies help flower pollinate by bringing pollen from one flower to the stigma from another flower. The pollen travels down the style and into the ovary which holds the eggs. When the pollen reaches an egg it turns into a seed. The ovary will swell up into a seed pod or a fruit for the seed/seeds to disperse and for the plant to reproduce. But the bee and butterfly population has been decreasing by 35% in only a year. Without pollinators many plants wont be able to make seeds and reproduce. And if the plants can't reproduce there will be no more of them in the future. 1/3 of our food is pollinated from bees so without bees 1/3 of our food will be gone. Hunger is already a problem in the world. By using insecticides we killing the pollinators and making the problem bigger and bigger. Insecticides will help people make more money, but there also causing many future problems. If we don't stop using insecticides more people will be starving and dying and the money we made earlier wont matter anymore.
