Sportsmanship

1. Sportsmanship is treating your opponents the way you would like to be treated.

2. I should demonstrate sportsmanship because it makes other people feel better and it is a good example for the people that don’t demonstrate good sportsmanship.

3.
  • I shook hands with the other team at the end of the game.
  • I didn’t brag about winning.
  • I didn’t get really upset at the other team for winning.

4.
  • I can be gracious about having things that others want.
  • I won’t get jealous over something someone else has.
  • I can shake hands with the other team in after a game.

5. This is good sportsmanship because the two swimmers are smiling and shaking hands - like they had having fun whether they won or lost - instead of bragging and making the other swimmers feel bad.
